Customer Review: When Katie, Joseph, Christine, and Anna Robinson, along with their parents, move to Pebbly Brook Farm to live with their grandparents during the time of the Great Depression it takes a little time to adjust to the move. As the children begin to settle in they learn some valuable life lessons.
This review is a little different for me than the normal reviews. This is a collection of stories in 6 CD set of audio stories. All of the stories are based on a family member of the author, and are set on a Northern Illinois farm during the time this family member was a boy. This CD collection is set to be released November 1, 2007, and is brought to us by Remembrance Press. I was able to preview the first story titled "The Discovery of Pebbly Brook". This story is very sweet and funny. It depicts family life, sweet family memories of the past, Christian values, the wonders of nature, and a little of what it is like to live on a farm. My children were listening with me, and they greatly enjoyed it as well. I think it is suitable for all ages.
